الملخص

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in orphanages is a strategic effort to foster the religious and moral character and independence of orphaned and abandoned children. This article analyzes the implementation of PAI in orphanages, covering the theoretical framework, teaching methods, challenges, and its impact on children’s character development. Through a literature review and case studies, this research found that methods such as habit formation, modeling, and pesantren-based learning have proven effective in enhancing children’s religious understanding and moral character. However, the implementation of PAI still faces challenges in the form of limited human resources, inadequate facilities, and a curriculum that has not yet been standardized. This article recommends a holistic and innovative approach to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education in orphanages, thereby fostering a generation that is faithful, of noble character, and self-reliant.
