Abstrak

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the implementation of the talaqqi and musyafahah approaches in Qur’an reading instruction at MTs Nurul Ilmi Bogor. The research employs a qualitative approach using a field research design, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the talaqqi approach is implemented through a direct teacher-led recitation process followed by students’ imitation, while the musyafahah approach is applied through direct observation of the teacher’s articulation in pronouncing Arabic letters. Both approaches are integrated in the learning process and positively contribute to improving students’ Qur’an reading skills, particularly in makhraj accuracy, tajwid application, reading fluency, and self-confidence. Supporting factors include teacher competence, a conducive school environment, and students’ motivation, whereas inhibiting factors involve differences in students’ initial abilities, limited instructional time, and psychological factors. The study concludes that the talaqqi and musyafahah approaches are effective in enhancing Qur’an reading skills when implemented systematically and continuously.
