IMPLEMENTASI KUIS INTERAKTIF BERBASIS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM KELAS V SDIT DAARUL FIKRI DEPOK

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation process of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based interactive quizzes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), analyze teacher and student perceptions, and identify technical and pedagogical challenges. Conducted at SDIT Daarul Fikri Depok, this research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The participants included one PAI teacher, fifteen fifth-grade students, and the school principal. Data were collected through non-participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing). Data trustworthiness was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that AI-based quizzes created via Canva AI and Canva Code foster an active, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. The teacher experienced enhanced efficiency in conducting formative assessments and receiving real-time diagnostic reports, while students demonstrated high enthusiasm driven by gamification elements, high-definition visuals, and immediate feedback. However, technical constraints such as internet instability and hardware limitations, along with pedagogical challenges regarding digital literacy variations, were observed. The study concludes that AI-based interactive quizzes serve as an effective formative assessment tool that aligns with the cognitive development of Alpha Generation students, provided it is supported by robust school infrastructure and teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge.
