Peran Rumah Tahfidz Sahabat Qur'an dalam Pembentukan Karakter Qur'ani dan Perilaku Sosial Santri Usia Remaja

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Sahabat Qur’an Tahfidz House in shaping Qur’anic character and its impact on the social behavior of teenage students (santri). Adolescence is a vulnerable transition phase that requires intensive moral and spiritual guidance. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving caretakers, teachers (ustadz/ustadzah), and students. The results indicate that the Sahabat Qur’an Tahfidz House focuses not only on Qur’anic memorization (tahfidz) but also integrates Qur’anic values through habituation programs, thematic tafsir studies, and daily role modeling (uswah hasanah). This character building significantly impacts the students’ social behavior, as evidenced by improved politeness in speech, social awareness, empathy, and self-control against negative peer influence. Thus, the Sahabat Qur’an Tahfidz House effectively acts as a non-formal educational institution that transforms Qur’anic values into practical social behavior among teenagers.
