Abstract

Morality is one of the main aspects of Islamic teachings that plays a vital role in shaping individual character and social life. However, developments in the era marked by technological advances, lifestyle changes, and increasing social problems indicate a tendency for a decline in the quality of morality in society. One source of Islamic teachings containing moral values is the book Bulughul Maram Min Adillatil Ahkam by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, which contains various moral values relevant to be applied in social life. This study aims to analyze the moral values contained in the Book Bulughul Maram and examine their relevance to social life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research. Data were collected through documentation studies of the Book Bulughul Maram, the Qur'an, syarah books, books, and relevant scientific articles. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, classification, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Bulughul Maram Book contains moral values such as honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, justice, social awareness, brotherhood, tolerance, and ethical transactions, which are strongly relevant to modern society. These values can serve as a foundation for building individual character while strengthening a harmonious, civilized social life in accordance with Islamic teachings.
